Hand-painted Gourds
Gourds have been used from the beginning of time for all sorts of things, including musical instruments, canteens, vases, vessels for storing liquids and grain, and of course, for my own original and whimsical creations. Ann's Gourds are carefully selected from the most reputable gourd farms in the United States. They are hand picked, hard shelled, cleaned, and can last a life-time. These gourds are painted with acrylic paint and varnished for their protection. Added features such as feet, arms and hats are made with papier mâché & clay. Each is signed and dated.
